Hi, I'm Vukasin. Engineer's path, designer's eye, hooper at heart.

I finished high school and went to New Mexico to play basketball and study. Two years into college, the scholarship didn't carry forward, and I came back home with no clear plan.

That's when a friend showed me a Figma course. From day one, I was hooked. I kept playing basketball outside of school, and every dollar I earned from it went straight back into my design education. A few courses in, I landed my first real project — the Glovebox app. It never shipped, not yet, but it taught me how much I still didn't know.

After that, projects started finding me. Working across multiple of them, I figured out how to build design systems and UX strategies that actually moved the needle for the startups and companies that hired me.

My favorite part of the job is that there's still so much room to get better. These days I'm leaning more into design systems, UX, and the underlying logic than polishing UI surface-level skills — because long term, UX is what drives the business and the money, not just how clean a screen looks.
